21 years old Richa Gangopadhyay is a former Miss India USA and model. She now turns Tollywood actress. Richa Gangopadhyay debuted as an actress in new Telugu movie “Leader” directed by Sekhar Kammula. She plays role against debutant actor Rana Daggubati the son of producer D. Suresh Babu and nephew of south superstar Venkatesh. Richa was crowned Miss India USA 2007 as a Michigan student at the 26th annual pageant held in New Jersey. She was crowned by the outgoing queen, Ayushka Singh. Richa Gangopadhyay was also won the title of Miss Beautiful Eyes Worldwide 2008, Miss Photogenic USA 2007 and Miss Photogenic Worldwide 2008. Richa like to dance, music, movies and teach children on the subject of health and nutrition.

Richa says, “I moved back to India one and a half years back and did modeling assignments and a few ads. Leader was my first audition and am very fortunate to have got selected out of many. Working with a director like Shekhar Kammula is an honor itself as he is known to portray female actors well.”
