Bollywood’s most awaited movie “Raavan” had its world premier at the British Film Institute Southbank in London on 16th June, 2010. Raavan is a big project from Mani Ratnam with Bollywood’s most famous couple Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai. Raavan movie premiere where attended by Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bhaduri, Indian super star Shah Rukh Khan with his wife Gauri Khan. Other many A-list Indian and International celebrities where gathered for movie premiere.
Mani Ratnam is a big name of Tamil and Hindi film industries. He made the big hit movies like Dil Se, Bombay, Roja and Guru. In the Raavan movie Abhishek plays Beera who kidnaps Ragini played by Aishwarya. Govinda, Ravi Kishan and Soth Indian superstar Vikram are also worked in the film. The music of the film is given by Oscar winner composer A.R.Rahman. Because of the stars cast line up, the film Raavan is much awaited by the audience.

The 11th IIFA (International Indian Film Academy) Awards presentation ceremony was held at Sughathadasa Indoor Stadium in Colombo, a capital city of Sri Lanka. The Micromax IIFA 2010 awards event was hosted by Lara Dutta, Riteish Deshmukh and Boman Irani. The movie 3 Idiots was the big winner of IIFA Awards night. Other big thing was that a tie between Kareena Kapoor (3 Idiots) and Vidya Balan (Paa) for the Best Actress Award trophy.
International Indian Film Academy jury was decided to give honor to Zeenat Aman for her Outstanding Achievement in Indian Cinema When J. Om Prakash for his Outstanding Contribution to Indian film. Anil Kapoor was presented with the Award for Outstanding Achievement by an Indian in International Cinema When The Green Globe Crusader of the Year presented an Award to Vivek Oberoi for his contribution towards the environment.
