India Vs Sri Lanka Match Highlights From Tri-Series 2009
Indian cricket team played very well against Sri Lanka in Compaq Cup Tri-Series 2009 final match at Colombo in Sri Lanka. Specially world’s greatest Indian player Sachin Tendulkar. Master blaster Sachin done his 44th ODI century at the R. Premdasa Stadium. India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni won the toss elected to bat first. Rahul Dravid opened innings with Sachin. Sachin added runs after runs to the Indian score total and Indian team set the target of 320 runs against Sri Lanka. Sachin scored 138 runs off 133 balls. Yuvraj Singh scored 56 runs in just 41 balls, When Indian captain M. S. Dhoni done 56 runs in 62 balls. Two wickets taken by Thilan Thushara from Sri Lankan side.
Sri Lankan team started the inning with the poor performance and Sri Lanka done 144 runs in 15 overs by 4 wickets. India won the match finally by 46 runs in 46.4 overs. Sangakara and Dilshan given fight but they out very badly. Kandami done hight score of 66 runs in 94 balls from Sri Lankan side, when Harbhajan Singh done exellent job in this final match and he taken 5 wickets. Sachin Tendulkar selected as Man Of The Match and Man Of The Series.
