Miss Venezuela Crowned As Miss Universe 2009
Miss Venezuela, Stefania Fernandez has became New Miss Universe 2009. She has won title and crowned as Miss Universe 2009 in Bahamas today. 2nd runners up was Gona Dragusha from Kosovo and the third runner up was Rachael Finch from Australia. Congratulations to Miss Venezuela.
84 contestants where participated in Miss Universe beauty contest in Bahamas. During the two-hour show a panel of 12 renowned judges selected Stefania Fernandez. They were judged on their grace, intelligence and good posture. Venezuelan beauty Dayana Mendoza, Miss Universe 2008, crowned her successor at the conclusion of the event.
When India’s Ekta Chowdhry failed to qualify for the 15 finalists short listed for the final of Miss Universe.
Miss Congeniality was given to Miss China Wang Jingyao, and Miss Photogenic was given to Miss Thailand Chutima Durongdej.
