Dirty Dancing Star Patrick Swayze Dies
The Popular Star Patrick Swayze best known for his roles in movie Dirty Dancing and Ghost, died in Los Angeles on Monday. 57 years old Hollywood actor Patrick Swayze was battling pancreatic cancer. Patrick was also Dancer, Singer and Songwriter. He was to married 32 year’s Lisa Niemi from June 1975. The couple was first met in 1970 when Lisa Niemi was one of his mother’s dance students. Petrick and Lisa had no children.
“Patrick Swayze passed away peacefully today with family at his side after facing the challenges of his illness for the last 20 months,” his publicist Annett Wolf released this statement. Mr.Patrick came forward about his illness last spring, but continued working as he undergoing treatments. Swayze was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer in January 2008 which proved fatal. He said at the time that the cancer had already spread to his liver.
He was appeared on the cover of People Magazine as its “Sexiest Man Alive” in 1991. Patrick Swayze’s last role was the lead in an A&E’s crime drama The Beast, which premiered on January 15th 2009. He recently starred in “Christmas in Wonderland” and played an aging rock star in the unreleased movie Powder Blue. Patrick Swayze’s fans are very sad to lose their good Hollywood actor.
