A Kolkata girl, Ushoshi Sengupta won Miss India title “I Am She”. On 23rd August, 2010 she represents India in Miss Universe 2010 at Mandalay Bay, Las Vegas, USA. Ushoshi Sengupta is also one of the contestants of Gladrags Miss Tourism 2008, a beauty contest which was organized by Maureen Wadia.

The main event of Miss Universe 2010 will be held on 23rd August, 2010 at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino, Las Vegas, Nevada. This is 59th edition of the international beauty competition Miss Universe. Bret Michaels and Natalie Morales will host this glamorous event. John Legend will give live performance at the show. Total 83 girls from different countries and territories are in the race to win the crown of Miss Universe 2010. The contestants of Miss Universe 2010 are ready to show their talent in the final round of contest. Total eight judges are working to find the beauty with brain from the 83 beautiful girls but it is not easy for the panel of judges because all the girls are coming from different countries and culture. As per the tradition, the winner of Miss Universe 2010 will be crowned by reigning Miss Universe.
Last year, beautiful Miss Venezuela – Stefania Fernandez won the title of Miss Universe 2009 at the Atlantis, Paradise Island resort in the Bahamas.

24 years old Miss Michigan Rima Fakih won the title of Miss USA 2010. The 59th Miss USA beauty pageant was held at Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino on 16th May 2010 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Rima Fakih is from Michigan state and now she will represent the USA in the next Miss Universe 2010 beauty pageant which is going to be held on August 22, 2010 in United States. Miss USA pageant live televised on NBC TV.
Rima Fakih beats other 50 contestants in this beauty pageant and she crowned by last year winner Kristen Dalton. There is a very tight race between last five finalist, Miss Oklahoma, Miss Maine, Miss Michigan, Miss Virginia, Miss Colorado. Where first runner-up Morgan Elizabeth, Miss Oklahoma USA and Second runner-up was Samantha Casey, Miss Virginia. Rima Fakih becomes the first Miss USA who is an Arab American and She also becomes the second Miss USA winner from Michigan. She moved to the United States with her family in 1993 and attended a Catholic school in New York. Her family moved to Michigan in 2003.

The 22 years old Manasvi Mamgai won the crown of India’s biggest beauty pageant Femina Miss India World 2010 (PFMI) at Mumbai on 30th April 2010 Friday night. Manasvi has also won the WGC Femina Miss Golden Heart title, Femina Miss Catwalk, Gorgeous Femina Miss Beautiful Skin and Himalyan Femina Miss Natural Beauty. Manasvi will represent India at the global pageant later this year. Manasvi Mamgai was chosen with other 18 contestant to win miss India World 2010. She was born on October 10th 1987 in Delhi and she was started her career with modeling.
The other winners were 23 years old Neha Hinge was crowned Miss India International 2010, while 20 years old Nicole Faria is Miss India Earth 2010 title. The contestants were dressed in beautiful creations by designers Ritu Kumar and Anita Dongre.

Beautiful Reena Patel from Indian Origin was crowned Miss Bollywood UK 2009. Another Indian beauty Simran Chadha was the runner up from Manchester and the third place was taken by Stacey Fox of Essex in Miss Bollywood UK beauty pageant in Birmingham, UK.
The 23-year-old Reena Patel was selected in as Final 15 finalist of the contest and finally she won the prestigious title of Miss Bollywood UK 2009.
