The Aircel gallery says that the price (in Mumbai) will be Rs. 7,999/-. And yes, my fear was proved right – both iNQ mobiles are ‘locked in’ with Aircel for a year. Both the Chat 3G and the Mini 3G will work with the ‘Pocket Internet’ recharge – Rs. 14/- for 3 days or Rs. 98 for 30 days. Defies logic. Why would anybody buy a 3G handset and connect using GPRS when there are 3G handsets like the Nokia 5230 (with virtual QWERTY keyboard) for the same price? The Samsung Omnia Pro B7320, a QWERTY smartphone is available for around Rs. 11K at The Mobile Shop. It is available at an even lower price from online shopping sites.
And then, even though there isn’t a clue as to the price, there is the iPhone 3GS, which might be launched by the end of the month or early April. Airtel has confirmed that it has entered into deal with Apple Inc to sell this iconic phone in India. Vodafone might also be among those authorised to sell this device in India.
And the iNQ mobiles – wannabe smartphones – have their own proprietary operating system and non-standard browser. However there are reports that Opera Mini will be the default browser. To surf the Web on a bigger screen, the Chat 3G can be connected with a laptop via an USB cable. But this is being done even now with the GPRS enabled phones. There does not appear to be a 3.5mm headphone jack, which would disappoint music fans. And worse, there is no FM Radio. Using GPRS, e-mail or Skype for VoIP calls isn’t likely to be successful. In any case the target group is the Twitter/Facebook addict.

I have recently purchased a INQ 3g chat mobile from Aircel galary Vashi NAvi Mumbai, its look good unfortunately the mobile is not supporting any word application like excel, ms word and powerpoint. Can anybody help me to resolve this issue?

Hey folks this fone is not good instead of taking this we can take samsung corby or the nokia e63.The corby is a 2.6inch touch screen it is available in a price around Rs.7000toRs.7500 it is cheaper than inq chat 3g and it has more features in it.Nokia e63 is nice but it costs near Rs.9000 overall i go with the corby.But one thing dont buy inq.It works only with aircel cim card.Its pocket internet costs Rs.98per month.Instead of all these restrictions buy the corby.

@Isabel if your in the uk then you just need to go down to a three store or the INQ stall in Westfields and buy a new back cover for your phone. Im sure you could get them online as well if you cant get to one of them!!!
